Adobe InDesign Systems Engineering Automation of Marketing Systems Integration System-level Testing Process Control Systems

Job description

Support system-level design and integration of thin-film PVD, deposition, and etching equipment. Coordinate the integration of mechanical, electrical, vacuum, motion, PLC, and automation systems. Support equipment controls and automation platforms, including PLC-based systems and operator interfaces. Troubleshoot equipment failures by analyzing mechanical, electrical, software, controls, and process-related issues. Support equipment installation, system commissioning, testing, and customer acceptance. Develop and execute system-level test plans, qualification procedures, and validation activities. Work with engineering teams to integrate pumps, valves, chambers, power supplies, sensors, motion systems, and process equipment. Support SEMI-style equipment interfaces and factory automation integration, including GEM/SECS when applicable. Assist with upgrades and modernization of legacy OEM thin-film equipment. Analyze equipment performance, downtime, reliability, and system-level failures to identify improvement opportunities. Prepare technical documentation, system specifications, test procedures, troubleshooting guides, and engineering reports. Collaborate with manufacturing, field service, process engineering, and customers to resolve technical issues. Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement projects to increase equipment reliability and reduce maintenance requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related technical field. Experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment, vacuum systems, automation, or industrial equipment preferred. Knowledge of PLCs, industrial controls, sensors, motion control, and equipment automation. Familiarity with semiconductor equipment communication standards such as GEM/SECS is a plus. Ability to troubleshoot complex systems using structured problem-solving and root-cause analysis. Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation. Strong communication and cross-functional teamwork skills. Hands-on experience with equipment integration, commissioning, or field service is highly desirable.
