Job description

In this highly visible role, you will take ownership of analog IP provided by external vendors. Your job is to assure that the IP is meeting Apple’s high quality standards and gets flawlessly integrated in industry leading mobile devices. The role involves working closely with different cross functional teams within Apple as well as external vendors. Occasional travel might be required., Define and specify requirements for analog IP provided by external vendors

Drive technical discussions with vendors and foundries

Supervise IP design, characterization, and debug

Review and sign off of IP design/tools/flow/collaterals, test plans, characterization reports

Support Apple IP integration teams including front-end design, design verification, physical design, DFT, TE/PE, SIPI

As a member of our dynamic group, you will have the rare and great opportunity to work on upcoming products that will delight and encourage millions of Apple’s customers every day!, Hands-on design expertise in at least 3 of the following areas: LDO, ADC, DAC, PLL, Serdes, bandgap reference, filter design, switched capacitor circuit design

Solid understanding of transistor device characteristics, especially in advanced CMOS processes

Solid understanding of power, area and performance trade-off in mixed-signal designs

Knowledge of analog IC design flow and tools

Multidisciplinary; being able to work on a large range of analog related topics

Experience with standards like PCI Express, MIPI, USB or DisplayPort is a plus

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong initiative and ownership of responsibilities, productive, able to meet aggressive deadlines, BSEE/MSEE plus a minimum 10 years of experience in analog IC design.

This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,500 and $311,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
