ThePre-Analytics Team Leaderis responsible forthe department’s courier training program and ensuring that the department adheres to all applicable safety and compliance guidelines. This position is critical to ensuring that newcouriers are properly onboarded and trained prior to performing specimen routes on their own. You will serve as the training liaison for our vendor couriers, ensuring that the vendor couriers are receiving the latest updates to our training program and all applicable compliance/safety guidelines (maintainingthe same level of service provided by CC couriers).

A caregiver in this position worksfull-time days 7:00am-4:00pm or 8:00am-5:00pm.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

  • Lead local workgroupin daily operations including staffing, service levels,qualityand safety.

  • Participate in hiringprocessas well as input on employee performance, including corrective actions and evaluations.

  • Investigate and resolve routine operational problems and patient issues.

  • Escalate complex problems to Supervisor/Manager.

  • Drive local root cause analysis and implementation of improvements and counter measures.

  • Provide response to local quality concerns andinformcritical issues to senior management.

  • Drive front line employee engagement and recognition.

  • Facilitate developmentforlead techs.

  • Leadand provideTalent Management for team leaders.

  • Oversee onboarding and trainingofall employees.

  • Orderandmaintainadequate supplies.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate’sDegreeand three years ofLaboratory experience

  • ORHigh School Diploma/GED andfive years of experience

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field(with one year of experiencemay substitute for experiencerequired)

  • Leadership experience (does not need be direct reports, can be team lead)

  • 5+ years of phlebotomy experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system and, in some locations, off-site.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.

Benefits & conditions

Minimum Annual Salary: $52,270.00

Maximum Annual Salary: $79,727.50

The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.). The pay range does not include the value of Cleveland Clinic’s benefits package (e.g., healthcare, dental and vision benefits, retirement savings account contributions, etc.).
