Job description
We’re seeking a Manager, Technical Program Management to drive execution for Applied Intelligence Data Engineering (AIDE), the team behind the ETL and streaming data platform powering analytics, personalization, and applied ML across Paramount+ and Pluto TV. You’ll own delivery of AIDE’s highest-visibility initiatives bringing program structure to a fast- shifting environment and becoming the delivery engine for AIDE’s product roadmap. Key Responsibilities Program Execution & Delivery Leadership Drive end-to-end coordination for an in-flight product integration and a larger upcoming onboarding of product lines onto AIDE’s unified data platform, from inception through full production cutover. Define scope, milestones, sequencing, reporting & dashboarding for senior executive team and stakeholders. Bring systems thinking and technical judgment to pipeline and infrastructure tradeoffs, and influence outcomes across a matrixed set of stakeholders without formal authority. Risk Mitigation & Issue Resolution Own cross-team dependency tracking and priority alignment across technology touchpoints. Proactively identify technical and delivery risks integration gaps, data-quality regressions, ingestion reliability, infrastructure capacity and drive mitigation with accountable owners. Facilitate root-cause clarity on complex, blocking issues; surface tradeoffs and escalate decisions with crisp options and recommendations. Cross-Functional Communication Partner with engineering, and adjacent product teams to align milestones and ensure delivery. Translate technical tradeoff discussions into clear plans for both technical and non-technical audiences. Provide clear, executive-ready updates on status, risks, decisions, and tradeoffs to team and org management., Working knowledge with the following is preferred deep hands-on engineering is not required, but comfort discussing these systems with engineers is. Event pipelines and streaming message platforms, and how raw client events flow into a data warehouse for downstream reporting and ML. Cloud data warehousing (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift) and workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow) for ETL/ELT scheduling. We use containerized services and cloud-native services. We also practice infrastructure as code. This means we manage our production environment proficiently. pipelines at scale. We perform automated testing to ensure data quality and check for regressions. We also focus on detecting anomalies. Additionally, we use tools for business intelligence and creating dashboards. Hands-On With AI-Assisted Development Tools Knowledge with the same modern tooling our engineers use. Candidates should be comfortable using AI coding assistants. These tools will help them improve their program management workflows. They can also increase productivity. They provide reporting and dashboards, and they automate parts of our product development operating model. This isn’t a requirement to write consumer facing code; it’s an expectation of genuine day-to-day fluency with AI-assisted coding as a way of working faster and more individually.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in AI/ML-specific Technical Program Management, Engineering Program Management, or a related role delivering complex, multi-team technical systems data platform or data engineering program experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional programs in a matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities. Solid ability to identify technical risk, manage interconnected workstreams, and communicate clearly across technical and non-technical partners. Proven ability to operate in ambiguity and bring structure to a fast-moving, still-evolving platform integration.
Benefits & conditions
Hiring Salary Range: $124,000.00 - 186,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
