Job description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Backend/API Developer with a strong focus on Java Microservices Development. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in building robust backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and modern CI/CD practices. A significant emphasis will be placed on expertise in MongoDB, as this will be critical for the successful execution of our projects. The candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable microservices that meet the needs of our clients., * Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.

Implement microservices architecture to enhance system scalability and maintainability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Utilize MongoDB for data storage and retrieval, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs in the application.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development practices.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in Java programming language.
Extensive experience in developing microservices using Spring Boot.
Proficient in MongoDB, including schema design, indexing, and performance tuning.
Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development.
Experience with modern CI/CD tools and practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) for deploying applications.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
Understanding of security best practices in API development.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven track record of successful backend development projects.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
