What you’ll get to do…

• Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable APIs and services used by millions of customers
• Deploy, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure in AWS
• Architect and implement modern solutions that improve performance, reliability, and security

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production issues using modern observability and monitoring tools

• Collaborate with engineers across teams to deliver secure, resilient, and customer-focused solutions, Own and expand customer relationships across the Western United States for a cloud-based healthcare genomics platform. Drive adoption, usage, and account growth within hospitals, laboratories, and healthcare organizations; identify expansion opportunities; navigate complex stakeholder groups; provide account support; and partner with sales teams on customer meetings and commercial development. The field-based role requires approximately 30-40% territory travel.

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including extensive development in Python, with a passion for writing clean, maintainable, and testable code using modern programming languages.
• Experience handling cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code practices
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, containers, GitHub Actions, or similar modern development tools
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, SSH, logging, monitoring, and security best practices
• Experience designing and maintaining distributed systems in production environments

• Experience with email platforms, protocols, and standards (SMTP, IMAP, POP3, DKIM, SPF, DMARC, etc.)
• Experience developing services in Go (GoLang)
• Familiarity with large-scale SaaS platforms and cloud-native architectures
• Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools and workflows to improve engineering productivity
