- Design end-to-end data flows across customer, account, transaction, onboarding, KYC, sanctions, AML, fraud, and case management systems.
- Establish logical and physical data models, canonical data structures, and integration patterns.
- Define data sourcing, lineage, quality, metadata, governance, and stewardship requirements.
- Partner with compliance, risk, operations, and technology teams to translate regulatory requirements into data solutions.
- Drive cloud-based data modernization initiatives and support enterprise data platforms.
- Ensure data architectures meet auditability, traceability, privacy, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Support implementation of AML monitoring, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, customer risk rating, case management, and regulatory reporting solutions
Requirements
- 10+ years in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or Enterprise Data Management.
- 5+ years of experience in Financial Crimes, Compliance, Risk, AML, KYC, Fraud, or Regulatory Reporting domains.
- Strong understanding of customer, account, transaction, alert, case, and regulatory reporting data models.
- Experience with data governance, data quality, metadata management, lineage, and master/reference data.
- Expertise in cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform), data lakes, warehouses, and integration frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to work with business, compliance, and technology leadership.
- Preferred Skills
- Experience with Actimize, SAS AML, NICE, Oracle FCCM, or similar FCC platforms.
- Knowledge of OFAC, BSA/AML, FinCEN, FATF, KYC/CDD/EDD, sanctions, and fraud regulations.
- Familiarity with AI/ML-enabled Financial Crime analytics and detection platforms.
- Experience leading large-scale data transformation and modernization programs.
- Ideal Profile: A practitioner who can speak equally well with Compliance Officers, AML Investigators, Risk Leaders, and Engineering Teams while building a scalable, governed, and regulatory-ready Financial Crimes data ecosystem.
