Job description

We’re hiring an IT Project Manager to lead technology projects for a government agency client based in the Long Beach, NY / Long Island City, NY area. This role is ideal for a PM with a strong IT background who has experience managing projects within government, public sector, or highly regulated environments

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of Project Management experience in IT
  • Experience managing projects for or within government agencies (federal, state, or local)

Nice to Have

  • PMP certification
  • Agile/Scrum experience
  • Familiarity with FISMA, FedRAMP, or agency-specific compliance standards
  • Experience with MS Project, Jira, or similar tools
  • Active security clearance (or eligibility to obtain one)
