MES Software Tester

• Test Planning & Execution: Design, write, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and technical specifications.
• MES & Solumina Validation: Validate core MES functionalities, configuration changes, and custom workflows within the Solumina ecosystem to ensure seamless shop-floor operations.
• Integration Testing: Verify and troubleshoot end-to-end data flows and interfaces between Solumina MES and SAP ERP (e.g., IDocs, BAPIs, or middleware).
• Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution using tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Regression & Automation: Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved or system updates are deployed. Help identify candidates for automated testing.
• Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to understand user stories, accept criteria, and ensure testing alignment with deployment schedules.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced MES Software Tester to join our growing QA team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our mission-critical enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing software environments, specifically with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). Direct experience with Solumina and validating integrations with SAP will significantly set you apart. You will collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and operations teams to design, execute, and automate test cases that keep our production running smoothly., Required:

• Experience: 5+ years of dedicated MES software testing / QA experience.
• Methodologies: Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL queries) for backend data validation.
• SAP Integration: Experience testing ERP integrations, with a focus on validating data exchange between MES systems and SAP.
• MUST BE US CIT with no dual CIT

Preferred (Highly Desirable):

• Solumina: Direct experience with iBASEt Solumina software validation.
