SDET / Test Automation Engineer

Airline Operations Experience (Required) oMust have hands-on experience supporting, testing, developing, or integrating mission-critical airline operations systems. Needs understanding of how operational systems impact downstream airline processes. Senior SDET / Automation Framework Expertise o5+ years of software development, automation engineering, or quality engineering. Proven experience building scalable automation frameworks, reusable testing assets, and establishing automation standards. AI-Driven QA / MCP / Emerging Testing Technologies oExperience with AI-enabled testing, agents, MCP servers, or modern QA automation approaches. Ability to support JetBlue’s AI-driven QA initiatives and potentially build or customize testing infrastructure. Strong Development & Test Automation Skills oSolid coding background in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Node.js. Strong experience with tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or Eggplant. API Automation & CI/CD oExperience implementing API automation frameworks, mocks, stubs, service virtualization, and integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, Git, etc.).

Primary Skills

• 5 years of experience in software testing, automation engineering, or software development
• Strong experience building automation frameworks and testing solutions
• Proficiency with Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, or similar technologies
• Experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or comparable tools
• Knowledge of CI/CD, API automation, service virtualization, and cloud platforms
• Familiarity with AI-enabled testing, agents, and MCP servers is a plus
• Airline industry experience required, with knowledge of airline operations systems
