Job description

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer in Okemos, MI., We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join a growing Application Development team. This individual will play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications, with a strong focus on backend development, web services, and modern front-end technologies. This person should be a forward-thinking, solution-oriented developer who can communicate technical ideas effectively and take a leadership role in driving application architecture, UI design, and development efforts., * Design, develop, and maintain Full Stack applications and services

  • Lead and contribute to application and UI architecture decisions
  • Develop and support backend services, APIs, and integrations
  • Build and enhance modern, responsive user interfaces
  • Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions
  • Troubleshoot complex application, performance, and integration issues
  • Analyze and optimize application performance
  • Contribute to technical design discussions and development best practices
  • Support UI/UX design and development efforts
  • Utilize modern development tools and AI-assisted technologies to improve productivity and development efficiency

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience and brings strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Strong experience with Core Java and enterprise Java development
  • Experience developing RESTful web services
  • Experience with the Spring Framework
  • Strong front-end development experience with Angular and TypeScript
  • Experience with modern web technologies, including HTML and CSS
  • Experience working with server-side APIs and web service frameworks
  • Strong SQL and relational database experience
  • Experience with enterprise database platforms
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools
  • Strong understanding of JVM architecture, performance tuning, and profiling

Preferred Technical Skills:

  • Experience with enterprise application servers
  • Experience with search and observability platforms
  • Experience with distributed caching technologies
  • Experience with authentication and identity management technologies
  • Unix and shell scripting
  • CI/CD and modern DevOps practices
  • Containerization and orchestration technologies

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
