Job description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud DevSecOps Engineer to help drive cloud adoption and automation initiatives by designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines. This individual will play a key role in enabling cloud-native application delivery, infrastructure automation, and DevSecOps best practices across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, infrastructure as code, automation, and security-first software delivery practices., * Design, develop, and maintain secure, automated CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based applications and infrastructure.

  • Partner with engineering, security, architecture, QA, and technology teams to implement DevSecOps best practices.
  • Automate code builds, testing, security scanning, deployments, and infrastructure provisioning.
  • Create and manage infrastructure-as-code solutions using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Packer.
  • Develop deployment automation strategies, including Blue/Green and Canary deployments.
  • Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve platform reliability and scalability.
  • Implement automated testing and validation processes throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
  • Build tools and processes that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Support root cause analysis efforts through clear documentation, metrics, and monitoring solutions.
  • Research and implement emerging technologies to enhance cloud delivery capabilities.
  • Collaborate with teams to enable secure cloud adoption through automation and standardized processes.
  • Mentor developers and engineering teams on DevSecOps methodologies and tooling.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 8+ years of combined post-secondary education and/or professional experience in Information Technology, Information Security, DevOps, or related fields.
  • Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Experience with YAML-based pipeline development.
  • Proficiency in Python programming.
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and architecture principles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of DevSecOps experience.
  • AWS DevOps Certification and/or Azure DevOps Certification.
  • Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
  • Experience deploying cloud-native applications using Kubernetes platforms such as OpenShift or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Experience with deployment strategies such as Blue/Green and Canary deployments.
  • Experience integrating security controls and testing tools into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with HashiCorp Vault or other secrets management solutions.
  • Knowledge of Chaos Engineering principles and reliability testing approaches.
  • Experience developing immutable infrastructure practices.
