Specific required qualifications include: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field - 7+ years of experience in relevant software development. - Experience leading R&D efforts in complex system such as test & measurement or similar hardware-intensive environments. - Demonstrated track record of delivering complex, multi-disciplinary products end-to-end. - Experience working with scrum or other agile methodologies. - Experience leading cross-functional teams where influence without direct authority. - Experience working with geographically distributed development teams. - Familiarity with system architecture and hardware/software co-design. - Fluent English (written and spoken). Preferred background: - Experience with IoT, network communications, heterogeneous hardware systems and component software.

• Background in test & measurement, semiconductor ATE, precision instruments, or defense electronics. - Prior direct line management experience. - Familiarity with scaled agile frameworks (SAFe or equivalent). - Experience establishing or maturing agile processes within an R&D organization. - Practical experience with AI productivity tools in a software development workflow. - Awareness of cybersecurity principles in the context of instrument or embedded software. - Experience with multiple platforms and operating systems, including multi-platform systems. - Experience with Git-based development workflows and issue tracking tools such as JIRA. - Experience with networking, PICe, USB protocols, and multi-threaded programming is an advantage.
