Job description
Lead Blue Yonder WMS solution architecture, design, and implementation for complex warehouse and distribution environments. Conduct discovery workshops with business stakeholders to understand warehouse processes, pain points, and transformation requirements. Translate business requirements into functional and technical solution designs aligned with Blue Yonder capabilities and best practices.
Design end-to-end warehouse processes including: Inbound and receiving Put-away and replenishment Inventory management Picking, packing, and shipping Wave and workload management Returns and reverse logistics Cycle counting and inventory reconciliation Identify opportunities to use standard BY WMS functionality and minimize unnecessary customization. Define integration architecture between Blue Yonder and enterprise systems such as ERP/SAP, TMS, OMS, automation systems, material-handling equipment, and external logistics platforms. Provide architectural guidance for configuration, extensions, interfaces, data migration, testing, and deployment. Review solution designs and ensure scalability, performance, security, maintainability, and alignment with enterprise architecture standards. Lead design reviews and provide technical/functional guidance to developers, consultants, integration teams, and testing teams. Support SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, hypercare, and production stabilization activities. Identify solution risks, dependencies, and design decisions and proactively drive them to closure. Act as a trusted advisor to customer stakeholders and provide recommendations on warehouse transformation and Blue Yonder roadmap opportunities. Support estimation, solution planning, and identification of additional transformation opportunities.
Requirements
10+ years of supply chain/WMS experience, with significant hands-on experience in Blue Yonder WMS. Experience architecting and delivering at least 2-3 end-to-end Blue Yonder WMS implementations. Strong understanding of warehouse and distribution-center business processes. Deep knowledge of Blue Yonder WMS configuration, solution design, extensions, and integration patterns. Experience integrating WMS with SAP/ERP, TMS, OMS, automation/MHE, and third-party applications. Strong understanding of APIs, interfaces, messaging, master data, and transactional data flows. Experience with large-scale and multi-site WMS deployments preferred. Ability to conduct customer workshops and translate business requirements into solution architecture. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills. Ability to work effectively with geographically distributed business and technology teams., Blue Yonder WMS certification or relevant Blue Yonder implementation credentials. Experience with Blue Yonder SaaS/cloud solutions and modernization programs. Experience in manufacturing, retail, logistics, automotive, or distribution environments. Knowledge of adjacent Blue Yonder capabilities such as TMS, Order Management, Labor Management, or Supply Chain Planning is advantageous. Prior consulting or customer-facing solution architecture experience.
