Job description

  • Design and implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines
  • Automate application and data-platform deployments
  • Manage source-control integrations and release orchestration
  • Improve deployment reliability, frequency and rollback processes
  • Deploy and manage workloads on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
  • Manage containerised applications using Docker
  • Implement Kubernetes security, scaling, monitoring and cluster life cycle management
  • Configure Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging and alerting
  • Build health checks, dashboards and operational reporting
  • Define SLIs/SLOs and support platform reliability practices
  • Support incident management, root-cause analysis and problem resolution
  • Automate infrastructure maintenance and routine operational tasks
  • Perform cloud performance tuning and cost optimisation
  • Support production deployments and critical incidents

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced GCP DevOps Engineer to build, automate and manage enterprise-grade cloud platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

You will work closely with engineering, architecture, application development and operations teams to deliver secure, scalable and highly available cloud solutions. The role requires strong experience across Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, Kubernetes, cloud security, monitoring and platform reliability., * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities
  • Experience working in global or multi-vendor environments
  • Experience delivering cloud migration or data-modernisation programmes
