Software Developer .NET

Our PRTG Core Team is looking for a Software Developer to help us design, build, and continuously improve the features that our enterprise customers rely on every day. Working within a small, agile team, you’ll take ownership of architecture and code quality, collaborate closely with our product manager, and help shape the future of network monitoring while getting the chance to explore exciting areas like AI/ML, messaging systems, and modern CI/CD practices. • You and a small, effective team will focus on the needs of our enterprise customers and work on continuous product improvements
• You will plan, develop and modernize software features together with your team
• You will contribute your own ideas and participate in discussions, planning and their implementation together with the product manager.
• As a team, you take responsibility for architecture and code quality
• You support the team with knowledge transfer, code reviews and testing of new features
• You assist our technical support in 3rd-level cases, analyze, isolate and resolve problems within complex environments
• You and the team work together to ensure a high level of quality and stability of the system

• You have 6+ years of experience with developing with .NET platform
• You have knowledge of AI/ML technologies or strong interest to learn and apply them in development
• You have solid experience with databases and their integration into software, or you are very interested in learning about this and applying it in development.
• You have strong problem-solving skills, technical knowledge and solid experience
• You are keen to learn more of a messaging system and its integration into PRTG
• You are willing to learn Rust is an advantage
• You are willing to learn about how our network monitoring software works
• You are very familiar with the development of software architectures, the implementation of clean code principles and the application of design patterns
• You are familiar with Git and are interested in a modern CI/CD infrastructure with GitLab and Jira
• You have an agile mindset
• You are able to communicate in English fluently
