This role involves working remotely with quarterly international travel., * Capture stakeholder requirements and develop CONOPS to define operational concepts.

  • Model mission scenarios to evaluate architectures and establish system requirements.
  • Manage requirements allocation, traceability, and interface definitions across spacecraft, payload, ground, and mission operations segments.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and lead trade studies.
  • Support business development activities and communicate technical status, risks, and recommendations to customers, partners, and upper leadership.
  • Develop verification and validation plans and support system integration and operational readiness.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and contributions to continuous improvement.
  • Maintain configuration control, documentation, and compliance with engineering standards.
  • Present mission analysis results at key program reviews.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) with space experience.
  • Satellite operations procedure development, launch support, and EOR operation.
  • Proficiency in link-budget, SysML, ICD, data flow diagrams.
  • Experience with Confluence and Jira.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, electrical engineering, or physics.
  • 5 years of relevant working experience.
  • Knowledge of space environment and orbital mechanics.
  • Hands-on systems integration experience.
  • Proficiency in testing systems and problem-solving.
