Job description

As the Supervisor - Field Service you will lead, direct, and execute the day-to-day operational objectives of one or more service technicians. You will manage projects, help coordinate team activities, identify appropriate resources needed, and develop schedules to ensure timely completion of projects in accordance with the customer contract. You will be in a field working position and must be skilled in heavy equipment operation. You must be geographically mobile., * Directs and manages project development from beginning to end according to the customer contract.

  • Provides daily direction to Field Service Supervisors to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Liaises with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis. Directs customer interaction.
  • Set and continually manages project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Tracks project milestones and deliverables. Develops and delivers progress reports, proposals, and requirements documentation.
  • Proactively manages changes in project scope, identifies potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Inspects work progress, equipment, or construction sites to verify safety or to ensures all specifications are met.
  • Ensures safe working environment at all times and follows appropriate safety regulations.
  • Completes monthly safety reporting.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelors’ Degree in business required.
  • Forklift certified required, OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • 3 years required, 5 years preferred of heavy equipment operation (forklift certified).
  • 3 years required, 5 years preferred of supervision experience in a construction environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control processes is required.
  • Knowledge of electrical, construction, or mechanical products is required.
  • Strong time management skills is required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills is required.
  • Basic computer skills is required.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions is required.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools and equipment is required.
  • Must be geographically mobile and willing to relocate based upon customer projects is required.
  • Ability to anticipate and prepare for customer needs is preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously is preferred.
