Job description
Weâre singularly focused on evolving the Spoonflower.com experience to better empower homeowners, designers, and makers to create beautiful, elevated projects that are uniquely theirs. We help run the everyday business on the site, leading most of the daily decisions around content, user journeys, experience, and more. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience building and growing a business with a crew of dedicated leaders at all levels. You will succeed in this role if you thrive on checking off to-do lists, context switching to learn about all areas of eCommerce, cross-team collaboration, and pre-planning your days/weeks. The flow of work is usually steady and predictable as opposed to ad-hoc and urgent. If you color-code your calendar, you fill fit right in with this detail-oriented team. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, curious, always learning, and has immense pride in their work. This role may not be the right fit if you thrive instead on rigorous order and process-as a nimble, lean team and company, we are all navigating many âfirstsâ together and must adapt and creative problem solve at times. If you prefer to plan day-of, you will run into issues keeping on track here. Flawless Execution
- See your work come to life on site every day. Own the everyday coordination and execution of most routine site updates through the CMS (promotion changes happen multiple times a week,
monthly collaboration launches, seasonal page refreshes, weekly dashboard data updates, etc). Follow the process and deadlines for creative briefs, review and QA, and launch. * Review content for accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment before launch.
- Perform QA testing to ensure content, links, images, and functionality are working as intended.
- Run the teamâs 3x/week standups with our JIRA board to ensure we are all aligned and have visibility into the teamâs initiatives. This normally entails walking the team through the tasks already accomplished and still in the queue for this week as well as whatâs coming up for next week.
- Ensure your own JIRA tickets are thoughtfully detailed and up to date.
- Help create and maintain our new organizational system to keep trackers, shared folders, and living documents updated and easily accessible to teams.
Story Telling
- Tap into your creativity and support other eCommerce team as needed with landing page builds by following wireframes or briefs.
- Become our in-house expert on our CMS and be a critical player in ideating and deciding on its enhancements and improvements.
- Use creative tools such as Figma and Canva for lighter design production work.
Collaboration
- You will eventually become the main point of contact for many of our cross-functional stakeholders on day-to-day efforts.
- Communicate clearly and meet deadlines.
- Improve any existing processes for stronger efficiencies or better outcomes.
Research and Continuous Improvement
- Conduct basic competitive research and industry monitoring when needed.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, documentation, and team efficiency.
- Stay current on eCommerce trends and best practices.
- Continuously expand your knowledge of the business, product offerings, and customer experience., Access Specialist I General Description of the Job Class Performs various appointment and access-related duties to include, but not limited to, scheduling, canceling, reschedulâŚ
