Job description

Our client, a premier global financial institution, is leading a massive Digital Transformation across their Americas Division. As they modernize their technology and embrace a data-driven approach, they are seeking an experienced Microsoft Power Platform Developer to join their Charlotte-based team. This is a high-impact role where you won’t just be building apps-you’ll be a subject matter expert during the company’s early adoption phase. You will handle everything from gathering requirements and administration to application lifecycle management (ALM) and knowledge sharing with the wider development team., + End-to-End Development: Design and deploy Canvas and Model-driven apps using diverse data sources (SharePoint Online, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).

  • Environment Administration: Oversee environment health, security, and data governance.
  • Production Support: Troubleshoot production issues and refine code based on real-time feedback.
  • Collaboration: Analyze business requirements to create design specifications and program-level documentation.
  • Mentorship: Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions for developers who are new to the Power Platform.

Requirements

  • Experience: 2+ years of dedicated Power Platform development.
  • Core Tech: Power Apps (Canvas & Model-driven), Power Automate, Power BI, and SharePoint Online.
  • Data & Dynamics: Proficiency in Dataverse, Microsoft Dynamics, and Data Gateways.
  • Technical Languages: Strong foundation in DAX, JavaScript, C#, and TypeScript.
  • Methodology: Experience working within Waterfall or Agile SDLC frameworks.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree with relevant professional experience. The “Plus” Factors

  • Azure Integration: Experience with Azure AD, Storage, DevOps, Logic Apps, and Data Factory.
  • Automation: Proficiency in PowerShell and Dataflows.
  • Industry: Prior experience in Financial Services or Banking is a significant advantage.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills; this role requires interfacing directly with various business units.
