Job description
The Director of IT and Analytics is responsible for the strategic leadership, implementation, and management of the organization’s technology infrastructure, enterprise systems, and data analytics capabilities in a rapidly growing healthcare organization. This role will oversee IT operations, cybersecurity, EHR optimization, data warehousing, reporting, and advanced analytics.

- Partner directly with organizational leadership on technology investments, clinic expansion, M&A integration, budgeting, and strategic initiatives., * Develop and execute a technology roadmap aligned with organizational growth and clinical strategy.
- Lead evaluation, selection, and implementation of enterprise technology platforms.
- Oversee all IT infrastructure across 15 locations, including:
- Network architecture and connectivity
- Hardware lifecycle management
- Cloud and on-premises systems
- Telephony and communication systems
- Manage relationships with third-party IT vendors and managed service providers.
- Provide strategic oversight of the organization’s EHR platform and related clinical systems.
- Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), HITECH, and other healthcare regulatory requirements.
- Develop and lead the organization’s data and analytics strategy.
- Oversee the build and maintenance of enterprise reporting and dashboard infrastructure.
- Support financial and operational forecasting models.
- Lead and develop a cross-functional team including:
- IT Support Specialists
- Systems Administrators
- Data Analysts / BI Developers
- Build a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Healthcare Administration, or related field required.
- Master’s degree (MBA, Health Informatics, or Data Science) preferred.
- 8-12+ years of experience in healthcare IT leadership.
- Experience managing technology across multi-site healthcare practices.
- Demonstrated experience implementing and optimizing healthcare IT systems.
- Strong experience building analytics and reporting infrastructure in healthcare.
- Experience with EHR platforms such as Epic, athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, NextGen Healthcare.
- Business intelligence tools such as Microsoft Power BI and Tableau.
- SQL and healthcare data modeling.
- Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
- Systems integration and interoperability standards.
Benefits & conditions
This direct hire position offers a salary of $135,000-165,000 annually. They offer a robust benefits package that includes comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, along with additional perks.
