Requirements

  • Programming: Strong proficiency in Java (Java 11/17), object-oriented design, and RESTful service development.
  • Frameworks: Hands-on experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, IBM MQ and Spring Data. ( IBM MQ is only need for NYC role)
  • Architecture & Integration: Experience designing and developing microservices, backend REST APIs, event-driven architectures, and messaging/stream-processing solutions using Kafka.
  • Cloud & Containers: Experience with AWS services such as IAM, VPC, EC2/ECS/EKS, S3, and CloudWatch. Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS); Helm experience is a plus.
  • Database: Experience working with NoSQL databases, particularly Cassandra.
  • Build & CI/CD: Proficiency with Maven/Gradle, Git, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent), and artifact repositories.
  • Observability & Production Support: Experience with centralized logging, monitoring, metrics, tracing, dashboards, and alerting using tools such as CloudWatch, Splunk, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
  • Quality & Testing: Strong knowledge of unit and integration testing using JUnit and Mockito, along with API, performance, security, and resiliency testing.
  • Security: Understanding of secure coding practices, authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth2/JWT, secrets management, encryption at rest and in transit, and vulnerability remediation
  • Observability & Production Support: Experience with centralized logging, monitoring, metrics, tracing, dashboards, and alerting using tools such as CloudWatch, Splunk, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
