Job description

This position will be responsible for managing system updates and new feature releases. Design and recommend solutions or alternate methods for complex system issues, evaluating downstream and cross-module impacts before implementation. Research and resolve HRIS problems, unexpected results or process flaws. Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries, analyzing data, and working with the HR team to evaluate gaps. Develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Train HR Users (new and existing) on processes and functionality of the systems and assisting team with system-related questions and needs. Managing semi-annual Workday version releases by researching new features, evaluating which ones should be adopted, and implementing and testing those that are added. Lead and execute configuration changes to security and business processes, including complex business process frameworks, condition rules, and security policy changes. Continuously analyze system applications and tools to ensure best practices. Cross-train and serve as back up to other HR functions. Explore new opportunities to add value to organization and departmental processes. This position will play a role in the implementation and support of additional modules and enhancements to current modules. Effectively collaborates with teams such as HR, Benefits, Payroll, IT, Recruiting, Finance, and others to provide support for requests such as enhancements, defects, and new functionality. Serve as a subject matter expert in one or more Workday functional areas, providing technical guidance to team members and business stakeholders. Lead configuration workstreams on projects and enhancements, including scoping, design, build, testing, and deployment, with limited supervision. Mentor and provide guidance to junior specialists and analysts, supporting their development and reviewing their configuration work for quality and adherence to best practices. Establish and document configuration standards and procedures, helping to ensure data integrity, audit readiness, and appropriate access controls across Workday systems. Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 4 years of directly related HRIS and Workday experience. Knowledge Skills: Hands-on Workday implementation and configuration experience in two or more Workday functional areas, specifically HCM, Talent and Performance, Advanced Compensation, Integrations, Reporting, or Time and Absence modules, is required. Demonstrated ability to lead configuration work independently, troubleshoot complex issues, and apply Workday best practices is expected., The pay range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered including, but not limited to location, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget, market data, and internal equity. Bonus and/or incentive eligibility are determined by role and level.
