The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is hiring for an Experienced (Level 3), Mission Systems Integration & Test Engineer located in Daytona Beach, FL.
\n

At Boeing, our Electrical Engineers develop electronic and electrical system requirements using analytical and technical skills, translate requirements into system architectures and modify hardware and software designs for Boeing aircraft, unmanned vehicles, and much more.
\n
\n
The candidate will enable the Mission Systems organization to continue to expand its business base and will participate in advancing aircraft technology. The team performs research into advanced concepts and prototypes for various communication, sensor, electronic warfare, and other electromagnetic systems and components.
\n
\n
The team is also responsible for developing system/subsystem requirements, participating with Software engineers with real-time Operational Flight Program (OFP) development, subsystem/system testing, and evaluating system performance in Flight Test. Simulation and modeling are utilized to assist in requirements development, software development, and offset some Flight Test verification.
\n
\n, Analyze, translate, and implement requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs, and interface specifications, showing traceability throughout the product lifecycle \n

\n Test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements \n

\n Resolve product integration issues and production anomalies \n

\n Support fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle \n

\n Investigate emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements \n

\n Monitor supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements \n

\n Develop and document moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements \n

\n Design hardware, software, and interface specifications \n

\n Assist in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements \n

\n Solve problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle \n

\n Research specific technology advances for potential application to company business need \n

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active Interim U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
