IT Infrastructure Administrator

The Systems Administrator is responsible for the administration, maintenance, monitoring, security, and availability of the organization’s server and endpoint infrastructure. This position will support Windows and Linux systems, virtualization platforms, backup infrastructure, Microsoft cloud services, and enterprise endpoint management. The role will work closely with cybersecurity, network, service desk, and application teams to ensure systems remain secure, reliable, compliant, and operational., Administer and maintain Windows and Linux servers in physical and virtual environments. Manage virtualization platforms and virtual machine lifecycle, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting. Perform operating system administration, configuration, hardening, and optimization. Manage Windows Server services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and related infrastructure services. Administer Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, and other cloud-based infrastructure services. Manage user accounts, groups, permissions, service accounts, and access controls. Implement and maintain operating system and application patching processes. Monitor system performance, availability, capacity, and resource utilization. Troubleshoot server, operating system, application, and infrastructure-related issues. Administer endpoint management and security tools, including EDR/antivirus and vulnerability management platforms. Support backup, restore, and disaster recovery operations and regularly validate backup integrity. Maintain system security configurations in accordance with corporate security standards and policies. Identify and remediate system vulnerabilities and security weaknesses. Maintain system documentation, configuration records, procedures, and technical diagrams. Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes. Perform system upgrades, migrations, deployments, and lifecycle activities. Coordinate with vendors and technical support teams when advanced troubleshooting or escalation is required. Support IT audits, security assessments, compliance activities, and remediation efforts. Participate in on-call or after-hours support when required.
