Job description
We are seeking a Data Center Infrastructure & Power Analyst to support critical power and infrastructure operations within a large-scale data center environment. This role will serve as a key liaison between IT, facilities, landlords, and vendors, ensuring power-related projects, maintenance activities, and incidents are properly coordinated and executed. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate power installations, maintenance activities, power downs, and single-sided events.
- Manage relationships with electrical contractors, facilities teams, landlords, and vendors.
- Support incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for power-related events.
- Monitor and manage infrastructure capacity, including RPPs, PDUs, load balancing, and rack-level power utilization.
- Coordinate data center infrastructure projects, rack deployments, cabling, and new build-outs.
- Track infrastructure inventory, equipment procurement, purchase orders, and stock management.
- Create and manage work requests, approvals, and project documentation.
Requirements
- Experience supporting data center power infrastructure, including UPS systems, switchgear, PDUs, and RPPs.
- Understanding of utility power, power distribution, redundancy, and 2N+1 data center environments.
- Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, facilities teams, and IT stakeholders.
- Knowledge of incident management, maintenance planning, and root cause analysis.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to serve as the primary point of contact for infrastructure and power-related activities.
