Application Security Architect

We are seeking an experienced Application Security with strong expertise in application security, vulnerability management, and data analysis. The selected candidate will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing application security vulnerabilities, identifying false positives, and partnering with application development teams to remediate legitimate security findings., * Review and analyze application security vulnerability findings.

• Investigate vulnerabilities and determine true positives vs. false positives.
• Work directly with Application Development and Engineering teams to remediate confirmed vulnerabilities.
• Track vulnerability remediation progress and follow up with responsible teams.
• Perform data analysis and reporting related to application security findings.
• Prepare and present weekly vulnerability burndown/progress reports.
• Drive remediation efforts with the goal of reducing open vulnerabilities to zero or an acceptable risk level.
• Maintain documentation of findings, remediation status, exceptions, and false-positive determinations.

• 10+ years of IT experience.
• Strong experience in Application Security / AppSec.
• Experience with application vulnerability management.
• Ability to analyze security findings and validate false positives and true positives.
• Experience working with Application Development teams.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
• Experience creating vulnerability metrics, dashboards, or burndown reports.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
