Job description

Cluster Administration
Install, configure, and upgrade OpenShift clusters (OCP 4.x).
Manage control plane, worker nodes, and etcd health.
Configure networking, ingress, routes, and load balancing.
Platform Management
Administer RHEL CoreOS nodes, patching, and OS hardening.
Manage container registries (Quay, image mirroring, vulnerability scanning).
Implement RBAC, SCCs, quotas, and network policies.
Application Support
Support containerized workloads (Java, Python, Microservices).
Enable CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps automation.
Integrate enterprise applications (e.g., Pega, WebSphere, IBM MQ).
Security & Compliance
Apply CIS benchmarks, SELinux policies, and encryption standards.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations (finance, healthcare, government).
Monitoring & Troubleshooting
Use Prometheus, Grafana, and APM tools for observability.
Troubleshoot performance, resource allocation, and scaling issues.
Provide operational runbooks and incident response.
Cloud & Hybrid Integration
Integrate OCP with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform services.
Support hybrid deployments and edge computing.

Requirements

Strong Linux (RHEL) administration
Expertise in Kubernetes/OpenShift
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps automation
Knowledge of containerization and microservices
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
Hands-on with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, AppDynamics).
