Data Visualization Analyst

HumanTouch is looking for a Data Visualization Analyst who transforms complex data into clear, compelling, and actionable visual insights that support business decision-making. This role partners with client stakeholders across to understand reporting needs, develop dashboards and visualizations, and communicate key trends, patterns, and opportunities through effective storytelling with data. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using business intelligence and data visualization tools. Translate complex datasets into clear, meaningful visual representations tailored to diverse audiences. Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to gather requirements and define reporting objectives. Analyze data to identify trends, risks, performance metrics, and opportunities for improvement. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports and visualizations. Create standardized reporting frameworks, templates, and data visualization best practices. Present findings and recommendations through visual storytelling techniques that support strategic decision-making. Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and business teams to improve data accessibility and usability. Monitor dashboard performance and implement enhancements based on user feedback. Maintain documentation for dashboards, reports, data sources, and reporting processes.

Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field. 3-5 Years of experience creating dashboards and data visualizations in tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Qlik, or similar platforms. Strong understanding of data analysis, reporting methodologies, and data visualization principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data manipulation techniques. Working knowledge of SQL for querying and validating data. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to translate technical information into business-friendly insights. Preferred Qualifications: Marine Corps experience Secondary repairables (any service) Navy ERP familiarity Location: Remote with DC Metro location preferred Travel: Limited potential travel
