Integration Engineering Architect

Asan Integration Architect , you will work with our growingDevSecOpspractice developing APIs and integration capabilities to connect data, services, and systems to helpour customers achieve their mission. We are looking forcandidates withexperiencebuilding APIs and microserviceswith cloud platform services,understandingbusiness requirements andimplementingcomplex integrationsfor data and services.You will act as both technical visionary andbe responsible forhands-on delivery., * Develop APIs, micro-services and integrations using a broad range of software programming tasks to ensure that their systems integrations are functional.

• Design reusable assets, components, standards, frameworks, and processes to support and facilitate API and integration projects.
• Advise technical teams on performance, scalability, reliability, monitoring, and other operational concerns of integration solutions.
• Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate functional and non-functional requirements into integration interfaces and implementations
• Create and provide technical documentation that explains upcoming or existing integrations to non-technical individuals
• Learn and implement technology solutions through multi-platform approaches. (Microsoft, AWS, Salesforce, etc.)
• Document as-is state of the environment, perform a gap analysis, and produce artifacts that articulate options and recommendations
• Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers
• Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results
• Ensure that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
• Identify technical problems, perform root cause analysis, and develop software updates and ‘fixes’
• Act as an individual contributor and mentor more junior team members
• Engineer and implement solutions and provide recommendations for continuous improvement for the services provided
• Present regular status updates and provide cross training to other team members.

• Ability to obtain a U.S. government public trust clearance
• BS Degree in an IT field OR BS in a non-IT field and 2 years related IT experience
• 8 Years of Experience with one or more clouds (i.e. AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• 8 Years of Experience with Git SCM providers such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket
• 8 Years of Experience with one or more programming or scripting languages
• 8 Years of Experience with one or more integration technologies, such as Mulesoft
• Experience developing API Management solutions and micro-services

Preferred:

• MS Degree in an IT-related field
• Certifications:
• AWS Solution Architect Professional
• Azure Developer Associate
• MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect - Level 1
• MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect - Level 1
• 5 Years of application development experience in an Agile environment
• Experience implementing docker containers and utilizing platforms such as Kubernetes
• Experience designing, implementing, and documenting APIs
• Experience utilizing CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Pipelines, CircleCI, TravisCI
• Java Centric experience, specifically around frameworks such as Spring Boot and Camel
• Experience implementing Automated Testing frameworks to test APIs and integrations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills

Steampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $150,000 to $180,000. The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
