On behalf of client, we are looking for someone who can take ownership of the Companyâs ERP environment, bring strong JDE expertise to the organization, and serve as a key technology partner to the business. Company Our client is a growing organization with an established Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne environment and a strong commitment to technology, operational excellence and continued growth. This is a newly created ERP leadership position formed to support the companyâs growth and the integration of its business with its parent organization. Leadership & Culture This is a hands-on leadership opportunity reporting to the Director of Information Technology and overseeing a team of JDE professionals. Position reports to the Director of Information Technology, who has been with the company over 30 years. Many of the employees have been with the company for decades, while they embrace new joiners. Impact As the ERP Systems Manager, you will be the primary owner and subject matter expert for the companyâs Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne environment and related business applications. Youâll be responsible for ensuring the ERP environment is secure, reliable, well-supported and aligned with the needs of the business, while leading a team responsible for the day-to-day development and support of the platform. Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Deliver the administration, support, security, upgrades, patching and deployment of the highly-customized JDE EnterpriseOne environment
- Serve as a thought leader around enterprise application modernization and digital transformation
- Provide hands-on technical guidance and support on a regular basis
- Lead an established team of six JDE developers and analysts
- Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and system enhancements
- Lead ERP-related projects, system upgrades, integrations and implementations
- Oversee application support, troubleshooting, testing, change management and production deployments
- Maintain appropriate security, access controls, segregation of duties and change-management processes
- Ensure the JDE environment meets SOX, ITGC and other audit/compliance requirements
- Partner with auditors and address corrective actions resulting from audits and risk assessments
- Manage third-party applications integrated with JDE, including Concur, Vertex Sales Tax, Create!Form, Denied Party Screening and ReportsNow
- Manage ERP-related vendors, service-level agreements and technology expenditures
- Encourage a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and innovation
- Drive user adoption and change management associated with new functionality, implementations and upgrades
Requirements
Weâre looking for someone with a strong JD Edwards EnterpriseOne background who can combine technical expertise with leadership and business knowledge. The ideal person is someone who can move comfortably between JDE administration, technical problem-solving, project leadership, security, compliance and business discussions.
- 10+ years of experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne
- 5+ years of leadership/management experience
- Previous experience managing an ERP team or JDE development/analyst team
- Strong hands-on knowledge of JDE EnterpriseOne administration and support
- Adept with JDE upgrades, patches, security, deployments and integrations in a highly customized environment
- Strong understanding of enterprise applications and their integration with JDE
- Familiarity with SOX, ITGC, GRC and IT audit requirements
- Experience with security controls, access management and segregation of duties
- Ability and willingness to remain hands-on when necessary
- Prior work as a JDE Developer and/or CNC is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong leadership, coaching and team-development skills
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelorâs degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field preferred
