Kubernetes Administrator

· Scripting knowledge in Python and strong hold in Linux will be an added advantage

· More than 8 years’ experience in IT industry.

· Expected to have played the role of Kubernetes administrator for more than 3 years.

· Kubernetes Administrator with strong knowledge in building and managing Vanilla Kubernetes or kubeadm based clusters.

· Extensive hands-on experience in managing Kubernetes control plane is mandatory

· Excellent hands -on experience in upgrading Kubernetes components like Istio, nginx ingress, cni components, outcold etc are mandatory.

· Should have experience with PVC in Kubernetes. Experience with portworx is preferable.

· Expected to have good experience on working in an environment with GitOps model.

· Expected to have worked in multi cluster environments with various type of applications

· CKA certification is preferable

· Strong knowledge on troubleshooting issues related to Kubernetes clusters including the issues related to control planes, ingress, worker nodes, deployments, PVCs etc

· Very strong communication and leadership skills are mandatory

· Knowledge in on-prem systems and virtualization like VMware will be an added advantage
