Senior Associate - Platform Reliability Engineer - Cloud Technology for New York Life Insurance Company in Lebanon, NJ, to automate and deliver repeatable, reliable solutions using Terraform, GitHub, Jenkins, and support application implementations on AWS. Automate remediation of platform defects and security vulnerabilities. Participate in monthly production platform releases. Review and identify IaaS issues or concerns. Assess resource usage and offer recommendations to improve efficiency, maximize utilization, and minimize cloud spend. Drive automation to replace manual operations and existing processes. Provide production support for cloud platform and cloud platform-related incidents. Collaborate with Cloud Architects and Solution Engineers to deliver solutions and projects.

Requires Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus four (4) years of experience as a Senior Associate - Platform Reliability Engineer - Cloud Technology or related occupation delivering automated, scalable cloud solutions and ensuring platform reliability. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus six (6) years of experience as a Senior Associate - Platform Reliability Engineer - Cloud Technology or related occupation delivering automated, scalable cloud solutions and ensuring platform reliability. Experience must include (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Deploying, maintaining, and automating services within AWS and Azure cloud platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
