Job description

  • Provides advanced support and development for the Archibus IWMS, including database design/implementation, user training, and integration with advanced technologies such as mobile devices, CAD, BIM-Revit, and GIS data. Requires strong Archibus, database management, and project management skills, along with excellent stakeholder collaboration.
  • Understand business and technology needs. Leverage technical solutions to meet organizational needs. Implement functional and cost-efficient IT systems.
  • Gather feedback from end users about system performance.
  • Develop and analyze functional specifications.
  • Plan and oversee projects (e.g., upgrades, hardware/software installations).
  • Coordinate developers to build and implement technology solutions.
  • Integrate multiple systems and reconcile needs of different teams.
  • Prioritize user requirements, oversee system upgrades, and research new tools appropriate to cleared environments.
  • Design, analyze, and implement efficient IT systems within clear environments.
  • Gather feedback from end users to continue improving systems.
  • Provide advice and technical training.
  • Manages Archibus operations, including business process development, review, automation, and documentation.
  • Leads Archibus design and development activities, conducting research and implementing solutions using Agile methodologies.
  • Provides expert user support, resolving issues, analyzing trends, and developing/delivering training.
  • Troubleshoots and optimizes Archibus performance, resolving errors and improving workflows.
  • Manages Archibus projects, gathering requirements, analyzing workflows, and developing strategies.
  • Implements and integrates advanced technologies (mobile, CAD, BIM-Revit, GIS) with Archibus.
  • Maintains Archibus data integrity and system security, managing upgrades and patches.
  • Supports Archibus training, coordinating and delivering sessions to users.
  • Provides first-line user support and escalates complex issues to the Archibus DBE.
  • Liaises with Archibus vendors and GPOC regarding support, updates, and licensing.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • Experience: 10+ Years of related field or work experience
  • Required Skills:
  • Proven experience as an IT analyst, IT consultant, or similar role.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Knowledge of databases, system security, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in business analysis and a deep understanding of business practices.
  • Proven experience as an IT analyst or consultant, with a focus on enterprise software systems.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including experience with SDLC methodologies (e.g., Agile, Kanban).
  • Strong understanding of database principles, system security, and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Archibus System Integrator certification or equivalent demonstrable experience.
  • Practical experience with DBMS, SQL, and database architecture.
  • Proficiency in web technologies (JavaScript, Java, HTML, XML, SQL) and configuration tools.
  • Excellent technical writing and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience gathering and implementing end-user feedback and prioritizing user requirements.
  • Experience overseeing system upgrades and researching new tools, especially for cleared environments.
  • Experience providing technical training and user support.
  • Experience with Archibus performance monitoring and tuning tools.
  • Strong knowledge of data cleansing and validation techniques.
  • Practical experience implementing IT security best practices.
  • Experience with Archibus system upgrades, patching, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
  • Experience with Agile tools, i.e., JIRA

Benefits & conditions

Compensation Range: $195,000-215,000/annually.Kentro determines compensation by evaluating current government contracting and commercial market conditions, as well as the role’s specific requirements.
