Job description
The AI-Enabled Java Full Stack Engineering Lead is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scalable enterprise applications leveraging modern Java full-stack technologies and AI capabilities. This role combines hands-on software engineering, solution architecture, AI integration, and technical leadership to build production-grade applications that improve business outcomes and accelerate technology innovation. The position works closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable, and high-quality solutions. Core Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST/gRPC APIs, and modern frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Develop and integrate AI-powered capabilities including intelligent assistants, agents, workflow automation, recommendation engines, and Generative AI solutions.
- Build reusable frameworks, services, APIs, and accelerators that improve engineering efficiency and support enterprise-wide adoption.
- Own technical delivery from concept to production, balancing speed, quality, and long-term sustainability.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and product teams to understand requirements, validate solutions, and drive successful adoption.
- Lead rapid prototyping and proof-of-concept efforts to evaluate emerging technologies and AI use cases.
- Partner with platform and engineering teams to integrate successful solutions into enterprise platforms and shared services.
- Drive engineering excellence through automation, AI-assisted development, testing, CI/CD, observability, and modern software delivery practices.
Requirements
Full Stack Engineering
- 12+ years of experience in software engineering, application development, or enterprise technology delivery.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, distributed systems, microservices architecture, and API design.
- Hands-on experience with React, Angular, Remix, or similar modern frontend frameworks.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, performance optimization, and scalable application design.

Experience building and operating production systems in fast-paced environments. AI & Modern Engineering
- Experience integrating AI/GenAI capabilities into enterprise applications.
- Experience in building applications using GenAI tools such as claude, copilot, or similar.
- Knowledge of LLMs, AI Agents, RAG, prompt engineering, and workflow automation.

Familiarity with AI frameworks and platforms such as Azure OpenAI, LangChain, LangGraph, Claude, Gemini, or similar technologies. Leadership & Collaboration
- Strong technical judgment and ability to work effectively with engineers, architects, product teams, and business stakeholders.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and drive execution with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Strong ownership mindset and ability to operate effectively in dynamic environments. Cloud & DevOps
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, etc.
- Understanding of software quality, security, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Experience with cloud-native application development and deployment is a plus.
