Job description

  • Support development of frontend tools for interacting with Zoox’s maps (TypeScript, React, MUI, Deck.gl)
  • Automate complex pipelines and workflows
  • Mentor team members on web technologies and distributed systems
  • You will establish guidelines and refactor existing code to follow best practices

Requirements

  • Strong experience in backend development and distributed systems
  • Frontend experience and knowledge of best practices (proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and React)
  • Knowledge of relational database design (Postgres) and RESTful API development
  • Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor others
  • Experience automating complex workflows (Airflow)

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with FastAPI, Kubernetes, and ArgoCI
  • Knowledge of geospatial data and coordinate systems
