Job description

  • Maintain and enhance an existing SSIS-based ETL framework in SQL Server.
  • Support a parent-child SSIS package architecture handling staging, ODS, and dimensional warehouse loads.
  • Develop and optimize T-SQL stored procedures, queries, and warehouse processes.
  • Work with dimensional models including fact tables, dimension tables, and Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD Type 1 and Type 2).
  • Integrate and reconcile data from enterprise source systems including Dynamics 365 CRM and case-management platforms.
  • Support and maintain SSAS Tabular models and downstream Power BI reporting.
  • Use Azure DevOps and follow established SDLC and change-management processes.
  • Produce clear technical documentation and maintain audit-ready standards.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Version control?, We are looking for someone who is comfortable stepping into a mature codebase, understanding existing architecture quickly, and making reliable improvements within a structured SDLC and change-control process., * 5+ years of experience with Microsoft BI and data engineering technologies.

  • Strong hands-on experience with: SQL Server / SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) / T-SQL / Data warehousing and dimensional modeling
  • Experience maintaining and extending existing ETL systems and production data warehouses.
  • Experience with SSAS Tabular models and Power BI.
  • Understanding of star schema design and SCD Type 1 / Type 2 implementations.
  • Experience integrating CRM or other enterprise operational systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Power BI Report Server (on-premises).
  • Dynamics 365 CRM integration experience.
  • Azure DevOps with TFVC source control.
  • Government, public sector, or regulated-industry experience.
  • Experience with SSIS Task Factory or similar SSIS enhancement tools.
