Informatica MDM Professional

Role Description: The Informatica MDM Professional must have 5+ years of experience. We are looking for an experienced Informatica MDM professional responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting Master Data Management solutions using Informatica MDM.

In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, data architects, ETL teams, and integration teams to build scalable and high-quality master data solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement MDM solutions using Informatica MDM.

• Configure data models, match-merge rules, hierarchy management, workflows, and survivorship rules.

• Develop and maintain Landing, Staging, Base Object, and Cross-Reference structures.

• Create and customize mappings, transformations, and workflows using Informatica PowerCenter or IDMC.

• Work on data cleansing, standardization, deduplication, and data quality processes.

• Develop APIs and integrations with downstream/upstream applications using REST/SOAP services.

• Implement batch and real-time data integration solutions.

• Collaborate with business users for requirement gathering, data governance, and data stewardship processes.

• Perform unit testing, SIT, UAT support, and production deployment activities.

• Monitor MDM jobs, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system performance.

• Create technical design documents, mapping documents, and operational runbooks.

• Support production incidents and perform root cause analysis.

• Work closely with Data Governance and Data Quality teams to ensure data consistency and compliance.

• Landing and Staging tables

• Experience with Informatica PowerCenter/IDMC.

• Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills.

• Knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL databases.

• Experience in Data Quality and Data Governance concepts.

• Good understanding of ETL, Data Warehousing, and Data Integration concepts.

• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and Web Services.

• Unix/Linux scripting knowledge.

• Familiarity with CI/CD and release deployment processes.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Cloud MDM or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).

• Axon

• Knowledge of Azure/AWS/GCP cloud platforms.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.

• Understanding of Data Governance tools like:

• EDC (Enterprise Data Catalog)

• Knowledge of Java/J2EE is an added advantage.

• Experience in customer, product, supplier, or reference data domains.
