Developer/Programmer Analyst

We are seeking an Oracle APEX Developer (“Developer” or “Successful Respondent”) to design and develop additional features in an APEX application for future regulatory needs. The Developer will be responsible for upgrading a custom APEX application on the Oracle APEX platform. This involves interpreting system specifications and collaborating with business analysts and stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding of the requirements., The Developer will update a custom APEX application, ensuring that specified business needs are met. They will write and optimize SQL and PL/SQL scripts to support application functionality and ensure efficient and secure data handling. Additionally, the Developer may be responsible for adding new features to daily uploads from current systems into the APEX application, ensuring seamless data synchronization and accessibility. The Developer will ensure that the application complies with industry standards, security policies, and best practices, including robust data protection measures.

Years Required/Preferred Experience 8 Required Web Technologies: Basic to intermediate knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for front-end development. 3 Required Oracle APEX: Proficiency in Oracle Application Express (APEX) for developing web applications. 3 Required Oracle SQL and PL/SQL: Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL for data modeling and PL/SQL for backend programming. 3 Required Database Management: Experience with Oracle Database management and optimization. 3 Required APEX Plugins: Familiarity with using and integrating APEX plugins to extend application functionality. Lumen and / or its clients will not provide equipment (Laptop, monitor, etc.) to the selected contractor. The contractor must have their own equipment. Access to a virtual desktop set up (software) will be provided by Lumen’s client, allowing the user access to the required systems and technology.
