GDIT is seeking a Network Engineer Senior to support USPACOM J6 MPE Network Engineering activities at JBPH-H, helping modernize enterprise IT capabilities and strengthen mission partner interoperability across the Pacific.
How the Network Engineer Senior Will Make an Impact
- Plan, engineer, and support MPE network capabilities aligned to MPE Network Engineering.
- Analyze network performance, interoperability, and resiliency needs across mission partner environments.
- Provide tactical data link expertise to support joint, coalition, and mission partner interoperability.
- Coordinate technical requirements involving operational communications, network integration, and data exchange across partner environments.
- Collaborate with USPACOM J6 stakeholders, service components, mission partners, and GDIT team members to resolve technical challenges.
- Prepare clear technical documentation, briefings, status inputs, and recommendations for customer and internal leadership.
Requirements
What Youâll Need to Succeed
- Education: BA/BS degree in related networking or IT field
- Required Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience supporting the role, mission area, or equivalent DoW/enterprise IT environment.
- Required Technical Skills: tactical data links; joint/coalition interoperability; MPE network integration; operational coordination; technical analysis; mission partner communications.
- Security Clearance Level: Final Secret.
- Required Certification: CCNP or 8140 âadvancedâ equivalent
- Required Skills and Abilities: Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, technical writing, customer engagement, and ability to coordinate across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and mission partner teams.
- Preferred Skills: Experience supporting USPACOM, combatant command, service component, or joint/coalition mission environments. Experience working in government site environments and coordinating with military and civilian stakeholders. Experience with mission partner, coalition, tactical, or multi-enclave networking.

- Rest and recharge with paid vacation and holidays., The likely salary range for this position is $107,744 - $141,450. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
