Job description

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and deploying scalable, cloud-native enterprise applications that leverage AWS services and automation to deliver reliable and secure solutions. You will be a valued member of the Cognizant Digital Engineering team and work collaboratively with DevOps, QA, and Architecture teams.

In this role, you will

Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications using Java, Python, and AWS services.
Build and support RESTful APIs and microservices following industry best practices.
Integrate AWS native services to build resilient and event-driven solutions.
Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
Create and maintain technical documentation and design artefacts while contributing to knowledge sharing and technical mentoring within the team.

Requirements

Strong hands-on experience in Java and Python development for building enterprise-grade applications and microservices.
Proven experience with AWS Cloud Services, including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, RDS, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, IAM, and Secrets Manager.
Solid understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and cloud-native application development.
Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases, including performance optimisation and data modelling.
Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across development, QA, DevOps, and business teams.
