Lead Software Engineer

• Extensive experience in multiple back end languages such as Java and Ruby

Role - As the Lead Software Engineer at Local Roots, you’ll be architecting and building the software platform of LocalX, our proprietary internal web based solution that empowers our farm operations team to manage our network of distributed indoor farms. You will focus on designing and building databases, real time monitoring and control through elegant front-end interfaces, back end support for machine vision and machine learning, and maximizing usability to enable our team to manage farms more efficiently. You’ll be solving challenges that will transform agriculture, crop monitoring, plant science, and food.
