Job description

We are looking for a talented TypeScript/Javascript Engineer to help shape and enhance our product. This person will play a pivotal role in developing a cutting-edge browser extension that serves as the core engine of our secure enterprise browser. Our engineers are key to building and maintaining robust, scalable solutions that power our cybersecurity platform.

Requirements

  • Develop, optimize, test, and maintain a high-performance Chrome extension.
  • Lead platform projects end-to-end, owning specific flows and delivering substantial product improvements.
  • Work closely with product management and customers to devise creative and innovative solutions to complex security challenges.
  • Serve as a technical leader, mentoring other engineers and improving the team’s overall performance and best practices.
  • Identify areas for improvement within team processes and actively drive positive change through new initiatives or optimizations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and optimize features.Requirements:
  • Education Requirement: All degrees must be in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of related experience; OR
  • Master’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of related experience; OR
  • PhD with a minimum of 3 years of related experience; OR
  • Equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Javascript.
  • Good understanding of web application architecture, including frontend and backend.
  • Positive ‘can-do’ mindset, able to work independently and within a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Big advantage: Experience with Chrome Extensions.
  • Advantage: Experience with Go-lang.
  • Advantage: Experience with at least one frontend framework.

Benefits & conditions

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
