Perform OS upgrades, migrations, and patch management using NIM/NIMADM. Manage IBM Power Systems environments including POWER8, POWER9, and POWER10 platforms. Create, manage, and reconfigure LPARs, DLPARs, and Virtual I/O Servers (VIOS). Perform storage provisioning, filesystem management, LVM administration, and disk migrations. Manage SAN-attached storage, NPIV, VSCSI, and multipathing configurations. Troubleshoot operating system, hardware, performance, and application-related issues. Analyze system performance using tools such as NMON, TOPAS, vmstat, iostat, and sar. Perform rootvg mirroring, mksysb backup/recovery, and disaster recovery activities. Support PowerHA/HACMP cluster environments and failover testing. Manage user accounts, security hardening, SSH, SUDO, and compliance requirements. Participate in vulnerability remediation, security patching, and audit activities. Work closely with application, database, network, and storage teams to resolve incidents. Prepare RCA documentation and support major incident management activities. Provide 24x7 on-call support on a rotational basis.
