Job description

· Develop Python-based microservices and AWS infrastructure using CDK and Terraform.

· Build serverless workflows using AWS Lambda and Step Functions.

· Develop containerized applications and secure, scalable RESTful APIs.

· Implement logging, monitoring, and audit capabilities using CloudWatch and CloudTrail.

· Develop solutions using DynamoDB, S3, and API Gateway.

· Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Git/GitLab workflows.

· Perform code reviews, testing, debugging, remediation, and performance optimization.

· Contribute to architecture decisions and technical documentation.

· Collaborate with stakeholders and Agile teams to deliver technical solutions.

· Leverage AI coding assistants such as Claude Code for development, testing, documentation, debugging, and code optimization while validating AI-generated code.

Requirements

Seeking a Senior Python/AWS Application Developer to build and maintain cloud-native applications and microservices. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Python, AWS CDK, Lambda, Step Functions, REST APIs, Docker, and CI/CD, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions in an Agile environment., · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.

· 7+ years of software development experience across the SDLC.

· Strong production-level Python development experience.

· Hands-on experience with AWS CDK, Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail.

· Experience with Terraform, Docker, REST APIs, Git/GitLab, CI/CD, unit testing, and integration testing.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical collaboration skills.

· Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred: Angular/React, TypeScript, SNS/SQS, Athena, Glue, AWS Load Balancers, microservices, and AI-assisted development tools.
