Job description

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Network Manager to work in a full-time onsite role on a large-scale, multi-year project at a client location in Manhattan, New York City / Newark, New Jersey. Reporting to the IT Project Leader. the role will oversee, secure, and scale our modern network infrastructure and IT systems. You will manage an environment powered by Cisco Meraki, Microsoft 365, Windows 11, and Dell hardware.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader who can design enterprise network architecture, provide Tier 2 escalation support, establish IT governance and ensure documentation management, while driving continuous performance improvement., Network Management (Cisco Meraki)

  • Maintain Cisco Meraki infrastructure, including MX appliances, switches, wireless access points (WAPs), and security cameras.
  • Design and implement scalable solutions covering MX HA/SD-WAN, VLAN/RF standards, organization templates, change control, and SIEM integration.
  • Manage and administer remote access and security layers using tools like Cisco Umbrella.
  • Monitor network performance and analyze threats using Azure Sentinel and SIEM platforms.

Endpoint & Management (Intune / Entra ID)

  • Provision, administer and manage Windows 11 environment deployments and configurations via Windows Autopilot and Apple Business Manager (ABM).
  • Oversee Dell hardware lifecycles, configuration, proactive maintenance and end-of-life disposal.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, SharePoint, Teams, and Exchange Online.
  • Enforce security and compliance via update rings, application deployment, Conditional Access, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and GPO baselines.

Remote Monitoring & Operations (NinjaOne)

  • Establish patch baselines, scripted remediations, automated software deployments, and system telemetry.
  • Utilize NinjaOne Ticketing to manage, prioritize, and resolve Tier 2 infrastructure and user support requests.
  • Maintain automated user lifecycle flows by connecting HRIS platforms (Workday/Workforce Now) to core directory services.

IT Governance, Compliance & Documentation

  • Author and maintain DR / BCP runbooks, major-incident playbooks, and structured patch windows.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contract reviews, and SOW execution (Meraki, Microsoft, NinjaOne, Global Relay).
  • Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), knowledge base documentation, and structured asset tracking logs. Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date IT documentation.

Leadership & Continuous Improvement

  • Provide technical guidance, career coaching, and skill progression tracking to junior IT staff members.
  • ·Evaluate and pilot virtualization technologies like Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) to scale hybrid-work infrastructure.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects aimed at upgrading system reliability and digital employee experience., Serve as a key member of the client’s IT team. Collaborate with internal team members, clients and vendor partners. Mentor and develop team members.

Requirements

  • Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field. Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft MS-900/MD-102, or formal ITIL certification.
  • Experience & Project Management: 5+ years managing network infrastructure, cloud-first topologies, and IT operations. Demonstrated understanding of Project Management principles and practices. Understanding of various software platforms used in Construction, Building or related functions or industries.
  • Networking Stack: Expert administration of Cisco Meraki (MX, MS, MR, MV series) and security tools like Cisco Umbrella.
  • Virtualization: Hands-on implementation of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) or enterprise VDI solutions.
  • Microsoft Cloud Stack: Deep proficiency in Microsoft 365 systems, specifically Entra ID, Intune, Exchange, and Azure Sentinel/SIEM.
  • Endpoint Ecosystems: Solid grasp of GPO-to-MDM migrations, Autopilot, Apple Business Manager, and hardware lifecycles.
  • RMM & Integrations: Direct experience administering NinjaOne RMM, compliance archiving (Global Relay), and automated HRIS integrations.
  • Operations: Documented track record drafting IT governance SOPs, playbook workflows, and managing vendor SOWs.
  • Managerial Experience: Prior experience directly managing people, resources and budgets.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with users, clients, team members, technical staff, and management. Able to interface, communicate and maintain effective relationships with team members and all levels of management on an ongoing basis and work as a trusted technical IT professional.

  • Base Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications
