Data Center Inventory & Asset Technician

• Removal of data center surplus: inventory, document, schedule
• Inventory devices to maintain 99% accuracy at HQ (monthly, spot-check tickets)
• Remove/uninstall EOL equipment using a power drill, palletize per SOP, lift 35-50lbs by oneself
• computer work: update GigaINV, use Jira (ticketing) & Confluence (research)
• Maintain a safe lab work environment (daily)
• restock install cart, ensuring material availability (daily)
• video creation: HQ Labs for Chennai users; GigaINV access & equipment navigation
• help create and maintain documentation on Confluence using AI
• able to work by oneself, datacenter environment, ask when additional information is needed
• optional: technical skills to install Ubuntu, Windows OSs, virtualization & networking exposure

• Take ownership of your work / responsibilities
• Cleanup your work area, return borrowed items, put things back where you found them when you are done
• Call/notify when you ll be late or not coming into the office
• Do what is needed to complete the task & lessen the impact on the next person
• Use but not rely on AI
• Execute tasks per documented Standard Operating Procedures
