SQA Cloud Test Engineer

• Set up cloud test environment for manual, performance, and soak test development and execution.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for functional, system, regression, and performance testing; based on business requirements, use-cases, and engineering functional specs.
• Coordinate with cross-functional engineering and QA teams to ensure adequate test coverage of complex features.
• Execute test plans using both manual and/or automation means and generate test reports.
• Document and report issues and bugs on JIRA and verify bug fixes and new features.
• Assist in investigating/debugging/ troubleshooting software/hardware issues employing tools available, e.g., Wireshark, IXIA, etc.
• Actively participate in meetings. providing feedback for quality improvement at each test cycle.
• Assist in Creation, deployment, and maintenance of system TestBeds to replicate different topologies possible with the focus on customer deployment.

• Cloud services experience with at least 1 of the following: Azure, AWS, GCP.
• Virtualization, Micro Services, SOA Architecture, Web Services, and REST APIs.
• Cloud computing platforms, tools, and technologies.
• Understanding of QA/Test process including designing test strategies and test plans.
• Agile environment experience or ability.
• CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment).
• 5-6+ Years in QA.

Desired Skills:

• Networking L2/L3, and/or Network Performance Monitoring and/or Network Packet Brokering.
• NW Monitoring Tools experience preferred - e.g. IXIA, Spirent, Wire Shark, others.
• Test Automation (Python and Selenium WebDriver especially).
