Job description

  • Bring up AMD Versal SoC on a custom iRDK board from EVK reference designs.
  • Develop and validate PL integration, including IP instantiation, configuration, and AXI interface development.
  • Implement and validate IPC mechanisms between Versal AI Core/RPU and AMD APU using RPMsg, OpenAMP, and shared memory.
  • Develop BSPs and device drivers for Versal PS subsystems, including RPU and APU partitions.
  • Work with AMD/Xilinx tools such as Vitis and Petalinux for platform development.
  • Validate real-time latency, performance, and data throughput across the PL-PS-APU boundary.
  • Bring up and validate sample applications involving PL IP integration and Versal-to-x86 interfaces.
  • Perform hardware and software debugging using Xilinx development and debug tools.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Embedded Software Development experience.
  • Hands-on experience with AMD Versal or Zynq UltraScale+ bring-up.
  • Strong knowledge of FPGA/PL driver integration, Vitis HLS, IP integration, and AXI interconnects.
  • Experience implementing IPC solutions using RPMsg, OpenAMP, or shared-memory communication.
  • Strong expertise in Petalinux, Yocto, and AMD/Xilinx SDK toolchains.
  • Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and/or Rust.
  • Experience with hardware debugging and Xilinx debugging tools.
