Data Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team in Houston, TX. The Data Engineer will focus on building and maintaining data platforms, data pipelines, AI/ML workflows, and cloud-based solutions that support Halliburton’s energy industry software products., Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes. Develop and manage end-to-end AI/ML pipelines. Support data modeling, data integration, and data quality initiatives. Design and deploy cloud-native data and AI solutions. Implement LLM and Generative AI solutions, including Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases/search, and prompt orchestration pipelines. Ensure data governance, security, and responsible AI practices. Monitor production systems for reliability, performance, and scalability. Participate in architecture decisions for enterprise-scale platforms. Collaborate with software engineering, data science, and product teams. Develop scalable and reliable data solutions for enterprise applications.

5+ years of relevant software/data engineering experience. Oil and Gas experience preferred. Strong experience with Python. Strong SQL development experience. Data Modeling. ETL/Data Pipeline Engineering. AI/ML Frameworks. Cloud Platforms including Azure and/or AWS. Strong Software Development fundamentals. System Design and Architecture. Full-stack exposure, with Angular/Node.js preferred. Experience with data pipelines, data integration, and data quality. Experience with cloud-native data and AI solutions.
